The best part is Stanford University has made their highly regarded CS106A course available for free online. The free course contains video of the all the lectures, access to all the handouts, and all the assignments. I’m really looking forward to doing this.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My first step was signing up for the Apple Developer program. It is free to sign up and the they provide all the software needed to develop an app.&lt;/p&gt;
